We are re-opening the shop this Saturday 22 April at 10am at 80 Howard St Nambour.
Big pile of new and 2nd hand stuff going out, a wall of $5 CDs and a cabinet full of vintage toys from Bad Vintage Nambour.
We also have some bands and musicians playing from 1pm:
The Meat
Henpeck
Ketamine Cowboys
Diaspora The Explorer
Louie Louie and the Dead Beats
Connor Mitchell from Hobo Magic/Emu doing a solo folk set
Skirmisher
Old Home
We are also in the process of negotiating a surprise old band to reform for it. Lawyers are currently working out the details but it’s someone who hasn’t played for a long long time.
Also. It’s Record Store Day. We didn’t get the Taylor Swift exclusive so stop calling and asking. But we do have 2 limited releases coming out on the day. Old Home and Oratory both have new 7″s available in store. Both limited to 150 copies. Some record stores in Australia will have copies and Sorry State will have a few for Americans. They probably won’t get there till after RSD. Sorry Yankees.
Do yourself a favour and check out some of the other records stores around too — Back Beat Records here in Nambour, Wax Espresso down in Maroochydore and Red Door in Caloundra.
