DESCRIPTION:We are re-opening the shop this Saturday 22 April at 10am at 80 Howard St Nambour.\nBig pile of new and 2nd hand stuff going out\, a wall of $5 CDs and a cabinet full of vintage toys from Bad Vintage Nambour.\nWe also have some bands and musicians playing from 1pm:\n The Meat\n Henpeck\n Ketamine Cowboys\n Diaspora The Explorer\n Louie Louie and the Dead Beats\n Connor Mitchell from Hobo Magic/Emu doing a solo folk set\n Skirmisher\n Old Home\nWe are also in the process of negotiating a surprise old band to reform for it. Lawyers are currently working out the details but it’s someone who hasn’t played for a long long time.\nAlso. It’s Record Store Day. We didn’t get the Taylor Swift exclusive so stop calling and asking. But we do have 2 limited releases coming out on the day. Old Home and Oratory both have new 7″s available in store. Both limited to 150 copies. Some record stores in Australia will have copies and Sorry State will have a few for Americans. They probably won’t get there till after RSD. Sorry Yankees.\nDo yourself a favour and check out some of the other records stores around too — Back Beat Records here in Nambour\, Wax Espresso down in Maroochydore and Red Door in Caloundra.

DESCRIPTION:The interactive dance and musical experience is a 3-hour event that allows participants to explore\, express\, and enjoy in a guided space. It focuses on connection\, movement\, and music to help revive the mind and body and bring participants back to their roots. The event starts with intentions and breathwork before moving on to ecstatic dance led by Abigail\, with music from DJ Ryzen and drums by Can Sengul. \nNext\, Jesse Higgins takes participants on a musical journey to embody their voices and bodies through music. The evening ends with chanting and a drum meditation to bring participants back to their bodies in silence. \nThe event promises to be a unique and transformative experience for all participants.
